WiNDSTAR for iPhone is aimed at student pilots, PPL and advance PPL holders to augment their flight planning and appreciation of the effect of wind.

Dial in the wind vector, the aeroplane TAS, and read off heading and ground speed values from the compass points on the windstar. A wind arrow in the centre shows the wind direction.
